Sofia

Sofia was rescued in the fall of 2017 after a friend of the sanctuary saw a post on a local listserve. Sofia was incredibly shy and nervous for a long time after her rescue- she is partially blind and was treated terribly at her old home. Sofia has a guardian angel, Wolfgang the completely blind rooster, and finds immense comfort in him. Sofia can often be found hiding under Wolfgang’s butt.
